Fewer indicators, chosen well
A useful dashboard has between 6 and 10 indicators. Track too many figures and you no longer see what matters. Each indicator should answer a concrete business question.
Starter indicators
- monthly turnover and change versus last year;
- gross margin by product, service or project;
- the number of days to collect invoices;
- the cost of a new client and client retention rate;
- productivity: revenue per employee or billable hours.
How to build the dashboard
Start from the year's goals, choose the indicators that measure them, and set the data source and the person responsible. A short monthly review turns numbers into decisions.
Where we come in
Together we choose the right indicators, build the dashboard on your data and help you interpret the results every month.
