EORI for individuals, sole traders and companies: differences and documents

Companies

For SRL, SA or other companies, the application is based on the company's and legal representative's identification details. The registration certificate and the representative's ID are usually enough.

Sole traders (PFA, II, IF)

The registration certificate and the holder's ID are used. Note: the sole trader's EORI is different from any number obtained as a private individual.

Individuals and foreign citizens

Individuals need their ID. Foreign citizens send their passport and, if available, the tax ID from their home country.

Updating an existing number

If the address, name or representative changed, the EORI record must be updated. There is a separate, lower-priced option for this in our order form.

  • Individual: 89 RON
  • Company, sole trader, association: 99 RON
  • Foreign citizen: 109 RON
  • Update: 79 RON
